Plan a small batch before committing a full tray

A useful first run starts with a record sheet. This is a preparation guide, not a tested fruit or yogurt recipe.

Keep the first question narrow

Choose one mold and one recipe from a source you trust. Decide what you are trying to observe: ease of pouring, tray access or release. Changing mixture, mold and serving method together makes the result difficult to interpret.

Write down what you use

Record ingredients by the measurements in the recipe, the final mixture volume, the cavities filled and the exact mold. Keep any unused mixture separate in your notes. The batch calculator helps plan quantity; it cannot predict texture, freezing time or nutrition.

Turn observations into evidence

Log the date, freezer setting if known and your actual observations. A successful small run can guide the next batch, but it is not a general food-storage or safety study. Our original recipes remain unpublished until we have repeatable trial records.
